Do I need a license to ride a Bhoomi Electric Scooty?

A light electric two-wheeler is exempt from a driving licence and registration only when both conditions are met: the motor is rated 250W or less AND the top speed is 25 km/h or less. Meeting just one is not enough. Ask us and our team will confirm which models qualify against their ICAT certificates.

What is the range of Bhoomi electric scooters?

Our electric scooters offer impressive ranges from 60km to 130km on a single full charge, depending on the model and battery configuration.

How long does it take to charge?

Using our standard home charger, the batteries fully charge within 4 to 6 hours. They plug into standard 15A wall sockets.

Are Bhoomi EVs ICAT certified?

Yes, our models are rigorously tested and ICAT (International Centre for Automotive Technology) certified, ensuring top-tier safety and build quality standards.

What battery types do Bhoomi scooters use?

Our scooters come with two battery options — Lead-Acid (60V/25AH, 60V/32AH) for affordable pricing, and Lithium-Ion (60V and 72V variants) for longer range, lighter weight, and faster charging.

How long does it take to fully charge?

Charging time varies by model: 60V batteries take approximately 5–6 hours, while 72V batteries take 6–7 hours for a full charge using a standard home socket (15A).

What is the battery range on a single charge?

Range varies by model — from 60 km (entry-level B1 Single) up to 130 km (flagship B9 Pro Plus). Actual range depends on rider weight, terrain, speed, and weather conditions.

Can I charge at home?

Absolutely! All Bhoomi scooters come with a portable charger that plugs into any standard 15A household socket. No special infrastructure is needed.

How long does the battery last before replacement?

Lead-acid batteries typically last 1.5–2 years with proper maintenance. Lithium-ion batteries last 3–5 years or 800+ charge cycles, whichever comes first.

Meeting just one is not enough. Tell us which model you are considering and our team will confirm its status against the ICAT certificate.

What warranty is provided?
